1. Task response

The first thing we need to pay attention to for success in writing is the Task response or TR. Task response means that we answer all the questions, pursue a specific goal until the end of the article, and point out everything said in the question correctly. In the Task response, your ability to understand and describe the parts of the question is evaluated. Coherence and relevance of sentences and paragraphs are essential in writing, and you should be able to maintain this relevance to have a complete text.
Also, don’t forget to consider the number of words in writing because one of the criteria for scoring is writing at least 150 words in task 1 and 250 words in task 2.

2. Cohesion and Coherence

The second point is Cohesion and Coherence or CC. CC means your text should have its coherence. For example, if you give a specific reason for a question in a paragraph, you should expand and explain the reason, provide an example, and conclude. You need to finish the topic you started and then move on to another topic. Paragraphing is very important in this section. Also, the sentences must have a completely logical and accurate relationship with each other so that you can get the total score from this section.

3. Lexical resource

The third point that is very important and must be observed is the vocabulary or LR. LR means using advanced and professional words and avoiding simple words as much as possible. Also, observe word spelling. Spell the words correctly and pay attention to uppercase and lowercase letters. For example, capitalize the words used in the first. Also, avoid using repetitive phrases in the text so that your text is not monotonous and low level. The use of academic words in the academic test is also essential, and you must observe it.

4. Grammatical range and accuracy

The next point to success in writing is GRA. Use a professional and complex grammatical structure in your sentences and avoid simple and beginner structures. In this section, the examiner looks at all of your grammar commands and evaluates them in terms of complexity, correct structure, correct sentence placement, and variety. But this does not mean that you use strange and complex sentences in your whole text. Instead, our advice is that your structures be varied and fully understood.

5. Writing rules

In writing, you should write a complete and flawless report and article. Using the correct writing rules and symbols is one of the essential points that you must follow because, in addition to being beautiful, it makes the text more readable. Proper use of commas, semicolons, and other symbols can make your text look consistent and eye-catching. Also, try to write your text beautifully, and your handwriting is legible so that the examiner doesn’t have trouble correcting it.

Conclusion

In addition to the above points, the type of answer to the question is also essential. To do this, you must first read the question well and then paraphrase it. Rewrite the first sentence you want to write for the introduction. Don’t copy the question in the same way as you can change the words and structure.
By following these tips, you can write a good and professional text for the writing to attract the examiner’s opinion and get the desired score. Note that for each of these sections that we have described, an independent score is considered, and eventually, their scores will be added together. So try to improve your skills in all areas.
